What you’ll do:
As a Process Technician, you’ll play a key role in making sure our production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You’ll work closely with team leads and engineers to operate high-tech tools, solve problems, and improve our manufacturing processes.
Your main tasks:
Operations
- Operate and monitor machines and tools.
- Follow clear work instructions and process materials according to the plan.
- Handle consumables like chemicals and sputter targets.
- Use measurement tools (like SEM) to inspect products and record results.
- Log issues and updates properly in our MES system.
Troubleshooting
- Spot and handle process issues using SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools.
- Investigate errors (OOC/OOS) and follow our OCAP procedures.
- Analyze process data to fix problems and improve performance.
- Lead or support root cause analysis (8D) and define actions to prevent future issues.
Process Improvement
- Support engineers in developing and optimizing manufacturing steps.
- Help run experiments (DOE) and measurement system studies (R&R).
- Report inspection results clearly, in Excel or slides.
- Follow and improve work instructions with your input and feedback.
Documentation & Training
- Train operators on measurements, flows, and SPC.
- Keep documentation up to date and easy to understand.
- Ensure smooth shift handovers using checklists or tools.
- Follow and promote safety rules at all times.
What you bring:
- MBO degree (level 3 or 4).
- Experience or interest in high-tech manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of tools like SPC, 8D, and FMEA is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable with both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and share knowledge with others.
- Team spirit – ready to work together and support your colleagues.
